I received an email from a man who said he wanted to propose to the love of his life at the top of Glastonbury Tor. We got there early so we could find a place that wouldn’t be obvious we were photographers. We could hear our couple as they walked right through the middle of St Michael’s Tower saying WOW and WOW and out the other side to look at the amazing views! I noticed he aborted his pre-arranged stretch as our sign and instead nodded my way, going down on one knee straight away. We were in the perfect place to capture her surprise, her tears and the wonder at her new ring.
They were the loveliest couple, so obviously in love, happy and filled with smiles. You hired a photographer, she said to him, then hugged him so hard. The moment was beautiful. We took a few more photos as he picked her up and swung her around. She kept looking at her ring, saying, I LOVE it!!! It was all Perfect, in fact it felt like the elements had provided a dramatic backdrop just for them! Beautiful!
