Lauren & Kyle were chatty and lots of fun right from the start. It was easy to connect with them, especially as they knew lots of people featured in my wedding albums. We met up a couple of times before the wedding and it was just all so easy going. Their Wedding was held at The Swan Hotel in Wells, one of my favourite venues!
On the Wedding Day I had no idea that Kyle’s middle name was going to create an uproar but when the words ‘Do you Kyle Batman Mitchell’ were spoken, it was kind of inevitable. Of course the registrar had to repeat his name several times which just made the ceremony more hilarious, fun and happy in between all the more serious moments.
The group shots with friends and family were taken at Bishop’s Palace, followed by some lovely couple shots around Vicar’s Close. I made sure we kept to timings as Lauren & Kyle had no idea they were going to be given a surprise wedding present of a horse and carriage ride around Wells and we were all made aware that we couldn’t keep the horses waiting! After the cake cutting they were whisked outside The Swan where the most beautiful white horses with huge white feathers were waiting for them with a fairytale carriage. It gave their wedding a magical feel as they clip-clopped away with people waving and taking pictures as they went.
There were lots of unique features, a vintage stepladder with lucky horse shoes to display names, a Beautiful Cake with a replica of Lauren & Kyle’s cat, Hugh, on the top, a photo booth prepared by the Best Man & Ushers and a Magician who somehow managed to levitate Lauren’s Wedding ring! No idea how that happened!
It was a beautiful Wedding and everyone was so lovely. Thankyou Lauren & Kyle for booking us. It was a pleasure to be part of your beautiful day!
